This handkerchief was a special purchase holiday gift to my mother Elizabeth as she has a special habit of carrying a handkerchief up her sleeve. It is going to be a particularly fine accessory for her to carry; meant to fit up the sleeve of a soft brown knit cashmere sweater...sort of like a delicate "jabot" peeking out at her wrist. She tends to lightly grasp her handkerchiefs as she walks and I thought this incredible design would look quite special in her hand: modern yet refined.
